I have decided to embark on a new adventure. With a little advice from a few friends that have been there before, I’m going to accept the challenge to publish two of our books this year.
The first is a novel called The Diner. It’s the story of a single mother that eventually overcomes the odds and becomes the hero of her own story. Her journey is not without struggle and personal growth. It’s an adventure from the Midwest to the beaches of Florida and then back again.
It’s about overcoming obstacles, internal healing and where we find wisdom. Releasing before Summer.
Laura and I are also finishing up the continuation of Out into the Desert. It’s a further examination of all we are discovering out here as we are evolving in a post-Christian world.
We hope to release it this Fall.
Our podcast, The Desert Sanctuary, seems to just keep getting better and better as we hear stories of those that are in various stages of deconstruction and evolution from organized religion. We are grateful for those that trust us with their sacred stories.
I also continue to write for Patheos in the New Visions category. I hope my vision stays “new” and open as I continue to evolve and challenge the structures that limit us.

Please don’t ask us to debate about Bible verses or ancient beliefs and practices of organized religion. We are moving on and doing our best to be a sanctuary for those on similar journeys. We are discovering valuable wisdom in unexpected places!
